A lot of my friends and family are working from home, what’s your stance on that?
We have standardized our hybrid work policies so that we can get closer to our clients and to one another. As a consultancy, this enables us to get ahead of delivery quality issues and ensures the highest delivery of service for our clients. Alongside these benefits, Kin having more time together in-person accelerates employee career growth and increases the ability for mentoring and training to happen. Our goal is to provide all Kin with clear, yet flexible direction so that each individual feels supported by a structure that prioritizes their life and their future connections at work.
What would my career path be? How could I grow here?
Working at Kin + Carta means being constantly exposed to new industries, transformative technologies and being empowered to make the most accessible, inclusive and sustainable solutions for our clients and our Kin. This just comes with the job and allows for some pretty rapid and exciting cross-industry and cross-functional growth. And as a firm, Kin + Carta supports the growth of all individuals through a committed People Leader, an investment in external training by way of certifications and a training budget, and an environment which prioritizes continuous feedback. Bi-annually, all Kin take part in a performance review process, which includes a review of continuous feedback, a self-assessment and an assessment from the individual’s People Leader. No career path is the same, as we have Kin who aspire to be internal leaders and also Kin who aspire to be individual contributors. All Kin are given the opportunity to become an expert in their craft and to continuously grow with feedback, investment in external training and internal knowledge sharing.

That’s great! We are delighted to hear this. First, check out our open roles page to review all the positions we have available. You can filter by location and department, but don’t rush. Take your time to read the job description, the role responsibilities and the minimum qualifications. This will help you to determine if the position is a good fit for you. Once confirmed that there’s a fit, the application process itself is very easy (we like it that way!) Apply using your LinkedIn profile, upload your resume and complete basic information. From there, someone from our Talent Acquisition team will be in contact with you on next steps. Can I apply for more than one position at the same time?
Absolutely! We don’t limit applications, however, we recommend applying only to a position with minimum qualifications that best align with your experience.
I see a position listed in a different location than mine — can I apply?
We recommend applying only to positions that are open in the same country as you are, otherwise we may not be able to move forward with the process.
What's the interview process like? How long does the process take from applying to starting?
The interview process itself changes a bit according to the role you are applying for. However, we try to keep all processes straight forward and consistent. Don't hesitate to ask our Talent team for more insight into the interview process of the role you're interviewing for — they'll be more than happy to share!
