Kin + Carta’s global CEO, Kelly Manthey, has been recognized by Consulting Magazine's Women Leaders in Consulting, specifically in the “Excellence in Leadership” category.

The Women Leaders in Consulting awards program showcases the character and leadership that make a measurable difference, not only for the consulting industry as a whole, but for the up-and-coming women leaders. In an industry overwhelmingly dominated by men, women leaders in consulting play an immense role in growing the profession, keeping it nimble and moving it forward.

I didn't fully realize what it would mean to me to have a female CEO until Kelly assumed her role. Subconsciously, we internalize ideas about what it means to be a CEO and more specifically, who can inhabit that space, and typically, those ideas are not inclusive of women. To be fortunate enough to know Kelly and watch her assume the highest leadership position of our firm without changing or compromising who she is has been incredibly empowering and inspiring. To all of us who identify as women at Kin + Carta, she is showing us that one day this could be you too!
Francesca Silva, Senior Principal

Kelly is an active executive sponsor of Kin + Carta’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Awareness (IDEA) program, collaborating with employees from all backgrounds to break the stereotypes around careers in technology to ensure Kin + Carta is a platform for all to thrive. After two years of IDEA and under Kelly’s leadership, the firm achieved a pay equity of over 95%, increased racial diversity to 37% in the US and created an accelerator program with a goal of diversifying the tech industry.

There is a lot said in the business world about women occupying the same positions as men, but this doesn’t always happen. Kelly is proof and reaffirmation that the empowerment of women at Kin + Carta is a strong commitment. Having a female CEO is a constant reminder that these positions are a reality for women, especially in inclusive environments like the one fostered at Kin + Carta.
