We are excited to announce Kin + Carta Create is expanding further in Europe launching a new innovation hub in Amsterdam late 2019.
Kin + Carta Create announces a new technology & innovation hub in Amsterdam
With a thriving tech landscape, the Netherlands is well known as one of the world’s most innovative countries. It is home to market-leading organisations, innovation incubators and a vibrant tech start-up scene.
We work with global powerhouses including Shell, RBS, BMW, Ford, Santander, Unilever and Tesco. As a fast-growing tech business, we see Amsterdam as the ideal base to increase cross-border collaboration with leading global organisations. Additionally, we hope to welcome new talent to bolster our international operations, drawing from the strong local community of talented designers and developers.
The Amsterdam hub will be led by Mitzi Lagerweij, Head of Market Expansion Benelux, and supported by the 200-strong team of in-house designers, engineers and strategists based in London and Edinburgh. Mitzi has played an integral role in Kin + Carta Create’s growth over the last 3 years, leading new product proposition development and accelerated product delivery for major clients including Visa, Tfl, Tesco, Unilever and Shell.
While our credentials cover a broad range of technologies, platforms and business objectives, some highlights of our innovative work with Dutch Internationals include:
Partnering with Shell to build the Shell Energy mobile app, helping customers track and manage energy consumption and payments. The co-sourced team worked at an accelerated pace launching this core business solution in months (originally expected to take years).
Collaborating with ING to create Yolt. Harnessing regulatory changes from PSD2, Yolt is an exciting mobile product that helps customers reclaim control of their finances. It was awarded the ‘Excellence in Innovation’ award at the Corporate Entrepreneur Awards’18.
Building a digital solution that enables smarter, faster decisions for global giant Unilever. We helped Unilever create OneView, a cross-platform, end-to-end Executive Information System (EIS), that utilises mobile to surface timely, accurate and secure business intelligence from across Unilever resulting in leaner, more effective decision-making.
