Kin and Carta joins The Valuable 500

At Kin + Carta, we exist to make the world work better - for everyone.  In particular when it comes to delivering accessibility and opportunities for the 1.3 billion people living with disabilities around the world through better designed products, platforms and experiences.

That’s why we’re honoured to announce that we’re joining the Valuable 500 on The International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

So what does our commitment actually mean?

The Valuable 500 is the largest network of global CEOs committed to diversity for people with disabilities. Big brands with a big voice who can collectively make a difference.

The goal of the organisation is to persuade 500 multinational companies that have at least 1,000 employees to make a public commitment to advance disability inclusion in their organisation. This will help unlock the business, social and economic value of a group that has, for too long, been denied entry to many parts of everyday life.

Valuable 500 helps CEOs boost inclusivity best practice at the leadership level through an Executive Inclusivity Programme including:

  • Developing a peer-to-peer network of CEOs committed to inclusion
  • Providing research and insight around inclusivity and business disability performance
  • Empowering CEOs to integrate disability across the entire value chain

We’re proud champions of Inclusive Design and making the digital world accessible to millions of people with disabilities around the world. Our commitment to The Valuable 500 is an extension of this belief system. I’m looking forward to learning from other CEOs how we could improve as an organisation when it comes to inclusivity but also promoting our own mission to make the internet a fairer place.
