The role in a nutshell

Kin + Carta is looking for a Shared Services Analyst to join a global operative position inside our Kin + Carta’s Global People Operations team. The shared services team is primarily responsible for conducting the operational onboarding and offboarding of employees, providing first line support for HR related employee questions, for administering the HRIS systems, creating and running reports, administering benefits programs, maintaining employee records, among other operational HR tasks.

We are currently working on optimising and streamlining the shared services work tasks across our global shared services team (EU and AMER). The responsibilities mentioned below are ones the successful candidate will be undertaking with the handover of the tasks to the EU team (which has already started and is still in progress). While we work towards this transition, the Shared Services Analyst will have the chance to work closely with the People team engaged in similar activities and will contribute to empowering the continuous improvement of our initiatives.

What you can expect

  • Providing support to our Europe employees from pre-employment through to offboarding.
  • Coordinating employee onboarding with various stakeholders to ensure new hires are set up for success.
  • Liaising effectively and collaboratively with other teams to resolve employee queries.
  • Generating and analyzing HR reporting
  • You are expected to work with different stakeholders across Europe, North & Latin America, as well as internal supporting functions.
  • Administering Data in our HRIS system and help with the integration of new countries
  • Ensure the highest level of data accuracy and data integrity within our HR systems.
  • Participate actively in different regional/ global HR projects

Working Hours: 10 am to 7 pm

The type of person we'd like to meet

  • Experience: 2+ years of HR service center or HR experience
  • Experience with reporting (excel, power BI, etc)
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong orientation to results.
  • Process Improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or any other HRIS system
  • Experience working in a global team is a plus.

The interview process at Kin + Carta

Here’s what to expect from the interview process at Kin + Carta: 

Intro Call with the Talent Team (30 minutes) – If your skills and experience match the role requirements, our Talent team will contact you to arrange a call.  The aim of this call is to get to know you and for you to find out more about Kin + Carta. This call can be held either by telephone or Zoom. After this call, if we feel like you are a good match for the role, you’ll be invited to a first-stage interview.

First-Stage Interview (40 minutes) - This will be a Q&A style interview, lasting approximately 40 minutes. This process is designed to help our team find out about your skills and experience but also what you enjoy and what motivates you. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask our team questions and  learn more about us! If you are successful in the first stage interview, you will progress to the next stage of our interview process

Second-Stage Interview (30 minutes) - The second stage will be a 30 minute discussion and it’s a chance for our team to see how you apply your skills and experience and assess how that matches our expectations for the role. It’s also a chance for you to meet more of our Kin (that’s what we call our colleagues here at Kin + Carta).

Making a Decision - Following the interview process, our hiring team will get together to discuss feedback and make a final decision. We aim to get back to you as soon as we possibly can! 

Our average recruitment process takes around four weeks. You will be assigned a dedicated member of our Talent team  to support you throughout the process.
