Location can flexible within the UK, ideally commutable to London, Edinburgh. Manchester or Liverpool.

The Lead Optimisation Strategist role in a nutshell:

The role of the Optimisation Strategist  is to lead and deliver best in class optimisation strategies for our clients. This includes managing a portfolio of accounts and managing the team to deliver them.

You’ll be an analytical, digital problem solver who can operate strategically to guide and coach  the client to help them understand the value of our work, ultimately helping them to achieve their goals.

Within the team you’ll be an active listener and mentor to the team to coach them into the best way to operate within every type of client engagement. 

Most of all you’ll be passionate about your subject and able to see how it can align with other crafts within our business and the broader Connective to drive growth and deliver business value.

As an Lead Optimisation Strategist at Kin + Carta:


  • Ownership of the client relationship on Performance management Programme on a pillar account
  • Provide oversight of the work the team undertakes to maintain quality standards that deliver tangible outcome
  • Understanding of data analysis & actionable recommendations using a range of digital analytics tools including Google Analytics, Webtrends and Adobe.
  • Compile strategic recommendations and able to tell a compelling story with data.
  • Document best practices and seek out opportunities to improve existing processes


  • Active leadership of an ambitious team 
  • Operational management of the workload through the team
  • Line management of key members of the team
  • Provide support for the Data Driven Optimisation proposition

  • Effective client relationship building experience 
  • Diligent with high attention to detail
  • Able to resolve issues in a timely and efficient way
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Being proactive and willing to develop self and team
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Google Analytics
  • 2-3 years experience using at least 2 of the following testing tools – Visual Website Optimiser, Optimize360, Optimizely or Maxymiser.
  • Ability to use and mine insight from Crazy Egg, HotJar, SessionCam or similar.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and all office tools.
