The role in a nutshell:

The Data Protection Office is seeking an enthusiastic Data Protection Coordinator to join their growing global team. We are looking for an individual who has an interest in building and developing their data protection and privacy career. This role suits an individual who is at the start of the privacy career and offers the opportunity to learn and cement existing knowledge whilst developing a deeper understanding of European data protection and privacy regulations as well as a broader appreciation of emerging global data protection and privacy legislation. The team you will be joining work with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders on a variety of privacy and data protection matters.The Data Protection Office’s role is to maintain compliance with global data protection and privacy legislation

What you can expect: 

  • Coordinate supplier management reviews as part of the Supplier Management Process
  • Assist the Data Protection Office with the completion of international data transfer agreements
  • Coordinate and assist with business’ periodic records of processing activities and statement of work/supplier reviews
  • Along with the other members of the data protection office help develop and maintain the general data protection training programme within the company and deliver ad-hoc awareness and in-depth training as necessary.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as and when required within the field of data protection, and other relevant topics.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders as part of a team.
  • Should be comfortable working with all major productivity software such as word, excel, power point etc.
  • Clear & capable communicator able to use both written and verbal communication techniques.
  • Maintains high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, integrity, trust and credibility.
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills are required for this role.
  • Additional languages such as Albanian, Bulgarian, Spanish are beneficial but not a requirement.

Knowledge And Experience

  • Basic understanding of the data privacy and related legislations.
  • A compliance or audit task experience in previous role(s).
  • Enjoys learning and working with different cultures.
  • Interest in evolving and emerging technology including; Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Data, Data Privacy, Digital Applications.
