The role in a nutshell:

This is an exciting new business development role which operates at the intersection of marketing, partnerships and the senior sales team. The individual will be tasked with turning both cold and warm leads into meetings for a Client Partner to convert into opportunities. You will be supplied with both a mix of target accounts and industries as well as marketing qualified leads from digital marketing, thought leadership campaigns and partnership focussed events. This role is the key lead generation component working within a squad made up of sales, marketing, partnerships and strategy.

What you can expect:

It is an entrepreneurial role, well suited to a self-starter who is comfortable using a mix of channels, from email to telephone and social media to prospect, perform initial qualification and crucially, arrange introductory meetings at the tip of the sales funnel. By utilising marketing assets, the role will involve nurturing and owning warm leads to the point of conversion and developing sales collateral and information upon request. There is scope and opportunity to shape the role, making it your own, with full training to understand the company’s services and sales approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold / warm outreach using a mix of channels including telephone, email and social media
  • Creation and ownership of prospect lists and nurturing
  • Initial qualification of prospect decision makers and business need/opportunity
  • Tailoring sales collateral for follow ups
  • Delivering sales qualified meetings with a decision maker or budget holder

The type of person we'd love to meet:

  • Advanced Level of English Language Skills
  • Knowledge of other languages is considered an advantage
  • Previous sales / call centre experience
  • Excellent MS office or equivalent skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Strong persuasion skills
  • Results and target driven
