The role

Kin + Carta is looking for someone to join our team as a Client Success Operations Specialist, who is organized, proactive, and driven to build operational consistency across a portfolio of client accounts. This role will help increase efficiency, accuracy, and create a stand-out client experience. Our ideal candidate will  look to continuously improve processes, build playbooks with best practices, have a keen attention to detail,  and be driven to collaborate with others.

Role responsibilities

  • Manage the internal operations of a portfolio of accounts, driving consistency and operational excellence.
  • Implement processes and playbooks to enhance the project lifecycle, including activities such as:
    • Track projects in the pipeline closely and support contract creation process
    • Orchestration of on-boarding/off-boarding processes for programs/projects across the portfolio.
    • Collaborate with legal, finance, and staffing teams to support assigned accounts
    • Curation of retrospective insights to fuel continuous improvement
  • Manage financial tracking and reporting for programs/projects across the portfolio, including ownership of data accuracy for resources, billing rates, billing events, discounts, and direct cost. Raise risks and issues that need to be addressed.
  • Support program/project communications, activity/deliverable tracking, tooling, and executive-level reporting.
  • Support Sales and Delivery leadership teams in building and operationalizing processes that increase efficiency and effectiveness of assigned accounts.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in an operations support role 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to comfortably communicate with colleagues at a variety of levels, ranging from new hires to executive leadership, including meeting facilitation
  • Advanced Google Sheets and Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently, provide solutions and set own priorities.
  • Highly detailed-oriented and a problem solver
  • Ability to synthesize data into insights
  • Highly collaborative with others
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce/FinancialForce PSA and FFA is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets macros and formulas
  • Experience managing a budget is a plus
  • Experience in a consulting organization, specifically tech consulting
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting is a plus
