The opportunity
Job Duties
Automate the deployment of services and processes through the use of shell scripts and groovy scripts, as well as developing custom releases for services which do not adhere to the existing deployment template. Enable team members through the teaching of Cloud Foundry concepts and the operation of platform services, Docker containers, Jenkins configuration and Groovy scripts. Debug platform issues by reviewing the source code repository on GitHub to determine whether services have the proper scripts for deployment. Partner with Fortune 500 clients to offer informed suggestions regarding products, deploy demonstrations of these products in a separate cloud eco-system in an isolated environment, and share understanding of cost/performance tradeoffs. Implement deployment tactics such as canary to safely deploy new features daily, in production environments without causing any outages.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and Management.
- Three (3) years of experience in identity and access management using Forgerock OpenAM and OpenIG as well as Java development of web authentication modules.
- Three (3) years of experience in data center architecture, delivery and operational services in at least one Cloud IaaS environment (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
- Three (3) years of experience working with common scripting languages including Shell or Python.
- Three (3) years of experience automating IT Operations processes via automated pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible.
- Two (2) years of experience with LDAP databases, and Cassandra CQL database.
- Three (3) years of experience in container orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm package manager.
Place of Employment Information: May travel to unanticipated locations in the United States. Telecommuting permitted.
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, M-F
