Kin  + Carta is hiring an AEM Solutions Architect, who is deeply experienced in understanding business and experience requirements and is able to translate these specifications into an actionable technical blueprint that will be followed by the development team. AEM Solutions  Architects understand and follow AEM best practices as they pertain to development, integration, deployment, security and performance. 

AEM Solution Architects will contribute to a development team through all phases of client engagements including development, data integration, devOps, and deployment. Experience Developers will collaborate with the Solution Architect and development team to follow and enforce development guidelines and best practices.

Outside of client engagements, the AEM Solution Architect role will work closely with the Technical Director to facilitate client-facing communications, establish best practices in relevant partner platforms, conduct technical interviews for a growing team and learn/disseminate best practices throughout the team.

• Act as architect in design and technical project lead in the strategy, design, and delivery of cutting-edge, business solutions across client engagements and internal delivery teams using the AEM platform
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the AEM platform as well as a general understanding of Content and Commerce enterprise architectures 
• Help build engineering collateral for efficient implementation of AEM projects
• Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Adobe platform, including AEM, Oak, CRX, OSGI, DAM
• Provide technical guidance to AEM developers around best practices in AEM development - both back-end and front-end execution
• Enforce best practices among the web development team while building web applications
• Participate in business development activities such as sales pursuits with prospects, estimate new projects and define scope
• Help maintain current continuous integration and continuous delivery for development, QA and live websites

• Experience leading 3+ complex Adobe AEM implementation projects from design (architecture) through implementation and delivery for consulting clients
• Demonstrated competency in translating business and experience requirements into AEM architecture, adhering to AEM best practices
• 3+ years of experience in implementing Web application, Web Content Management (WCM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions using AEM platform.
• 3+ years of Technical Leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with programming in Java, Oracle, and MongoDB
• Experienced in Business Knowledge, Integration & Orchestration, Technical Solution Design, Risk & Quality Management and a Master in Functional Architecture Design

• AEM Certification (preferred, not required)
• Experience with working with Adobe Cloud implementation
• Experience with multiple CI/CD tools including Atlassian Bitbucket
• Experience with DevOps tools include Bitbucket Pipes, Terraform, Azure DevOps
• Experience across a variety of client engagements and industries
• Experience with major search providers
• Experience with major Analytics packages (Adobe and Google)
• Knowledge of JavaScript and JS Frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Node)
• Knowledge of application security concepts and best practices
• Knowledge of performance tuning and performance testing methodologies
• Knowledge of CRM and AMS packages
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Being proactive and willingness to learn, develop and adapt
• Previous consulting experience a plus
